Shoots

Aloha fellow Diners,

I would like to apologize for the long delay in between postings, I have had some wonderful adventures. First I am going to let you know about a local restaurant that I am absolutely in love with.

When the question comes up "Chinese?" the first place that comes to my mind is "Shoots". This little gem is located in the river bottoms right next to the happy sumo sushi. I would consider my self a specialist in Chinese cuisine, having dined in China (Hong Kong, Kowloon), my father taking us to Chinese restaurants for nearly every special occasion there was, and the fact that he owned over 250 Chinese cookbooks that my brother and I grew up cooking out of!!! Shoots is the best Chinese restaurant on the west coast that I have dined in. Focused on FRESH, Bright, Clean Cuisine Shoots brings a fresh approach to Chinese food that is rarely seen. Stepping away from the oily same ol' same ol' stuff, you get an addictive lettuce wrap, a mouth watering honey glazed walnut shrimp, and best of all Won Ton Min. (the later is my all time favorite) There is dinning for large groups, I recommend making reservations, but if you just want to pop in with your special someone the ambiance is quaint and the customer service is friendly.

As I carry on my fathers tradition of going out to eat for very special occasions or when I want to show someone great food in Utah County, I take them to Shoots.
